The Great Kingston Dad Joke Showdown is open, and Jo's Fresh Meats is putting up a $250 meat pack for the worst joke in the region — with a $100 meat pack for the runner-up.
How to enter
Comment your dad's joke on our Facebook or Instagram post. That's the whole thing — no forms, no purchase, no receipt.
Entries are open now and close Sunday 6 September at 11:59pm.
How the winner is chosen
We'll read every entry and shortlist our favourites. From Monday 7 September to Thursday 10 September, the shortlist goes to a public vote on our Facebook page — so the winner is decided by Kingston, not by us.
Winners are announced Friday 11 September and contacted by direct message, with prizes collected from Jo's Fresh Meats here at the Village.

Our shortlist decision is final, and the public vote decides the winner from there

The Showdown is part of Father's Day at Spring Farm Village. There's also a free photo album workshop on Saturday 5 September, where the kids can make him something he'll actually keep, and a gift guide sorted by what you want to spend.
